SUV Tours and Geological Excursions
Japanese SUVs designed for off-road travel and experinced drivers will make it possible to get to hard-to-reach corners of Kamchatka with active volcanoes, thermal springs and rivers full of fish. The number of passengers is limited to 4 people per car. The routes are developed at the request of the customers.
SUV tours will allow you to visit Tolbachik Volcano - the place of the last two eruptions, where the lava has not cooled down yet. Travelers also can drive close to the crater of Mutnovsky Volcano, with its numerous fumaroles, boiling cauldrons, steam jets and a waterfall in the Opasny Canyon, to swim in the Opalsky springs and much more.
An experienced geologist will tell and show you what happened in various places over the past millions of years, as mountains grew and destroyed, waterfalls formed on the rivers, deposits of various minerals (including steam) were formed, lava caves and volcano calderas arose. Geological excursions along Kamchatka are combined with SUV tours.
